Three Tales of Terror

San Francisco Theater Pub casts a dark shadow this October with three nights of creeping doom inspired by the work of American horror fiction legend, HP Lovecraft.

Three evenings of dramatic readings of one-acts newly adapted by local writers and acted by some of the best and brightest of the Bay Area thespian pool, each night offers something unique and well-suited to the Halloween season:

October 19 features three shorts: PICKMAN'S MODEL, adapted and directed by Nathan Tucker; THE HOUND, adapted by Ignacio Zulueta; THE CALL OF CTHULHU, adapted by Nirmala Nataraj. Each gruesome tale hinges on the revealing of a secret better left undiscovered: what is the source of Pickman's artistic inspiration? what are the repercussions for the theft of a precious treasure buried in a Dutch cemetery? what lies in wait for us in those corners of the world where the sane dare not go but the mad are compelled to investigate? Short, fast and nasty, the cast this night features Joe Estlack, Dimas Guardado, Evan Johnson, Charles Lewis III, and Nathan Tucker.

All shows start at 8 PM and are free, though a five dollar donation is suggested. Get there early as we tend to fill up quickly!
